Developing a non-profit’s theory of change and monitoring, learning and evaluation framework: GIA led the development of a theory of change and monitoring and evaluation (MLE) framework at an innovative non-profit that focuses on the application and spread of human-centered design to alleviate poverty.  In the first phase of the project, GIA conducted participatory workshops and stakeholder consultations to arrive at a theory of change in a collaborative effort with the client. In the second phase of work, the development of the MLE framework provided insight into the organization’s objectives for monitoring performance, instituting learning in its projects, and evaluating progress toward its goals. Throughout, GIA provided thought partnership to the CEO and the teams working on measuring their impact.
